The vaccine lepto4 is safe. Lepto2 was discontined that caused many dogs to die from vaccine and many to be sick. lepto 4 is safe and your vet maybe can give it with other meds such as bactrum Leptp4 and few others. I have only acsess and adminstrated the Dapplv4
